Canon announced its ‘Live For The Story’ campaign in 19 countries. The winner of the campaign will travel around the world.
Canon announced that it has launched a photo contest with a very special price in 19 countries. The winner of the “365 days summer” named competition will be among those who share the photo taken with any machine a camera or a cell phone on Instagram. Canon is aiming to draw attention to the fact that each picture has a terrific story behind with its the campaign ‘Live For The Story’.
How is it applied?
Candidates who think they have photos that will encourage people to find their own stories will refer to the most memorable summer stories by sharing them on Instagram with @canoneurasia and #LiveForTheStory tags. In order to participate in the contest, a short story of up to 50 words should be written below the picture. Starting on May 17th, the right to participate in the competition will end on June 28th. Applications for this unique prize will be judged by the actor, producer, musician and storyteller Zoe Kravitz and by a jury.
A successful candidate will travel to all parts of the world to pursue the summer, create his own summer story from Lisbon to Melbourne, from Rio de Janeiro to Barcelona. The applicants will be judged on a variety of criteria such as story-telling ability, visual appeal, authenticity and inspiration. The lucky person will freely draw his or her own route to find inspirational stories throughout the tour, and share the photographs and stories he/she draws with the world through Instagram.
The lucky person will be rewarded with a budget of 33 thousand euros in total. The prize includes 7 economy class flight tickets worldwide, including return to their home country. The winner is also entitled to 2 nights accommodation in 6 destinations and £ 1,500 for each month he/she travels. There is also a comprehensive travel insurance policy.
